 Early concept that was voted too radical by for iHome's more minimal design aesthetic.

 The model was made using urethane tooling foam to represent the plastic shell used to house all the components.

 Tooling foam after being finished with bondo, sanded and painted. 
 Front face was laser cut acrylic, with 3d printed speaker grills. The 3d printer allowed us to use the 3d model we created for renderings to help create the physical model.

 During the final weeks of the project, the original iPad was officially announced along with its measurments. This led to last minute design changes to take into account for this before the final presentation. The entire model was made longer to all
 Concept sketches for the first iHome project, inspired by the aesthetic of the speakers floating in air, resting in a front face of acrylic. 
 Soft model made to help understand scale and size in comparison to an iPhone before the designs proportions were finalized.
